Data protection policy

This privacy policy explains how EcoFinia GmbH | Björnsted collects and uses personal information on this website.

Access data / server log files

The provider (or their web space provider) collects data about each time the offer is accessed (data known as server log files). The access data includes the name of the web page retrieved, the file, date and time of retrieval, the amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, the referrer URL (the preceding visited page), the IP address and the requesting provider.

The provider only uses the log data for statistical analyses for operational purposes, safety and optimization of the offer. The provider reserves the right to review the log data at a later date if there are concrete indications leading to reasonable suspicion of unlawful use.

Handling personal data

Personal data is information that can help identify a person, i.e. details that can be traced back to an individual. This includes not only the name, e-mail address or phone number, but also data on preferences, hobbies, memberships or which web pages were viewed by someone.

Personal data is only collected, used and passed on by the provider where permitted by law or where the users consent to the data being collected.

Contact

When contact is made with the provider (for example using a contact form, by e-mail or social media), details of the user are saved that are needed in order to process the request and for the event of follow-up questions arising.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer by a webserver based on permissions set in your browser software. Cookies do not read any information on your personal computer, rather, they’re used as identifiers by our website to customize, monitor, or regulate the use of this site based on information stored on the host server.
Although most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, you may be able customize your browser options to prevent and/or notify you when you are sent a cookie. The notification option allows you to decide whether or not you would like to accept the cookie. Not accepting cookies from our Web site still enable you to access and use site features.

Integration of services and third-party content

It may be the case that third-party content from other websites is integrated within this online offer, such as YouTube videos, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics. This always requires the provider of such content (hereinafter referred to as a “third-party provider”) to be able to determine the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the browser of the user in question. The IP address is therefore required in order to show this content. We endeavour only to utilize content where the providers in question use the IP address for no purposes other than delivering their content. However, we have no influence over whether the third-party provider stores the IP address e.g. for statistical purposes. Insofar as we are aware of such usage, we will inform the users about it.
